Collection layout
Open the collection template and Collection section. Choose Desktop columns, Mobile columns, Products per page, Card gap, and image layout. Enable Show collection image to display the collection image, then adjust its desktop and mobile heights. Custom imagery selected in a collection card takes priority over an automatic cover.
Color cards
Enable Show each color as a separate product card to showcase color variants as individual cards. Assign matching variant images first. Test a card’s image, color selection, and destination against the product data. Use Second image only when useful media is available.
Filters and sorting
Enable Filters and sorting in Collection. Configure the store’s available filters using Shopify Search & Discovery and eligible product data. The theme renders the filters Shopify supplies; enabling the setting alone does not create filter values.
Search results
Search supports products, pages, and blog posts. Use the search results template to review layout and available filter/sort controls. Product-specific filters apply to products. Ensure content is published and available to the Online Store, then test actual search terms.
Recommendations
Configure complementary products with Shopify Search & Discovery, then use the product suggestions section where appropriate. Results depend on Shopify’s recommendation data. Empty results should not be treated as missing stock or a checkout error.
