Install and preview
In Shopify admin, open Online Store → Themes. Add your JSON theme ZIP to the theme library, then open its theme editor. Work on an unpublished copy and use Preview before publishing. A theme ZIP contains layouts and settings; it does not create products, collections, menus, translations, or legal policies in your store.
Set your identity
Open Theme settings → Brand identity. Set Brand name and Logo text. Upload your own logo in the Header and Footer sections where a logo picker is available. Replace WHO IS JSON demo copy, imagery, links, and social URLs with your own content.
Prepare your content
Create products and collections in Shopify admin, then create navigation menus and informational pages. Choose those resources in the corresponding theme settings. Check links on desktop and mobile. Use only media you have permission to publish.
Build your homepage
Select the home page in the theme editor. Add and reorder sections, select real products and collections, and adjust spacing. Hide any unfinished sections. Section settings affect that instance; Theme settings control shared styles and behavior.
Before you publish
Review product variants, inventory, shipping, taxes, payments, policies, and checkout in Shopify admin. Test a product selection, add to cart, cart update, search, navigation, newsletter, and contact journey. Confirm desktop and mobile previews before publishing your chosen theme.
